We are looking for an experienced and passionate Shopify Expert to work alongside our innovative teams for both front-end and back-end development of the company website on the Shopify platform. You are perfect for this role if you are passionate about cars and the automotive/e-commerce industry.

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform
• Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
• Proficiency in front-end languages like JavaScript
• An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
• An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
• Great attention to detail and highly organized
• A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Customizing and developing an e-commerce site on the Shopify Plus platform
• Extending Shopify’s functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
• Page speed optimization of Shopify sites Implementing SEO best practices in Shopify sites
• Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect responsive presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
• Working with version control systems such as GIT
• Working under tight deadlines
• Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
