About the role:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Pesto, you will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and driving our sales initiatives forward. You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing relationships, and qualifying prospective clients to ensure a strong sales pipeline. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and possesses a strong understanding of technology solutions. You will work closely with our GTM team to identify market opportunities, leverage inbound and outbound sales strategies, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Pesto Tech.


Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels including social media, networking, and databases.
  • Generate high-quality leads and conduct outreach via calls, emails, and social media.
  • Qualify leads to determine their potential suitability for Pesto Tech's products and services.
  • Schedule meetings and demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of leads using our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on client interactions and market insights.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or related field, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment to achieve sales goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple leads.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn more about IT services and solutions.
