Confluent Cloud Engineer | 4 to 7 yrs | Work Timings: Standard IST

Description

We are looking for a Confluent Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in managing and deploying Confluent Cloud and Kafka solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes cluster deployment, CI/CD pipelines, database systems, and experience working with multi-cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical proficiency and the ability to work in an Agile development environment to ensure scalable and efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confluent Cloud & Kafka Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize Kafka on Confluent Cloud, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security for data streaming processes.
• Kubernetes Cluster Deployment: Build and manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts and Harness. Ensure optimal orchestration of containerized microservices.
• CI/CD Pipeline Setup: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, enabling continuous integration and deployment for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Database Systems Integration: Manage and integrate with a variety of database systems, including Google BigQuery, MySQL, AWS Aurora, and XtraDB. Ensure data consistency, availability, and scalability across these platforms.
• Agile Development & Multi-Cloud Infrastructure: Work within an Agile development framework, supporting sprints and continuous improvements. Design and deploy solutions across private and public clouds, ensuring multi-cloud compatibility and efficient resource management.
• System Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor Kafka pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and database integrations. Identify bottlenecks and performance issues, ensuring high availability and low-latency data streaming.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Database Administrators, and Software Engineers, to deliver optimal cloud solutions that meet business needs.
