Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented specialist to join our team as a Research Analyst. In this role, you will work with innovative ventures and play a vital role in our advisory team researching & developing information sets that would be utilized in our case frameworks. In addition, you will conduct surveys/interviews and structure your analysis in a strategic manner. You will work closely with Business Analysts to provide insights and contribute effectively in the client’s strategy development.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to support cross functional teams.
• Research: Conduct both primary & secondary research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, customer classification & segmentation and other industry developments. Build and maintain comprehensive info-sets on various innovation sectors to support projects & client engagements
• White Papers: Contribute actively to create industry first white papers for publication on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and reliability of research findings through rigorous quality control and validation processes
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment across teams to develop effective solutions to engagement pain points that improve client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a research analyst role within a start-up or management consulting firm

Skills & Capabilities:

• Understanding of business and innovation concepts
• Good knowledge of representing qualitative and quantitative info sets
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools and software (e.g., MS Office, Tableau etc)
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Familiarity with research methodologies & database search
