Job Overview

Paradigm Realty is seeking a skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at our Mumbai headquarters. This mid-level role requires part-time or full-time employment and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety standards and compliance across our real estate projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have experience with risk assessment to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in accident investigation to analyze incidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in emergency response planning to prepare for and mitigate emergency situations (Mandatory skill).
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations compliance to ensure projects adhere to legal standards.
• Ability to conduct safety training sessions for employees to promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Proven skills in hazard analysis to evaluate potential risks in work environments.
• Experience in conducting safety inspections to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
• Capability to carry out incident reporting for documentation and future prevention strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

evaluate blueprints of the project to ensure the work environment is safe

design detailed safety plans to maintain a safe work environment

investigate workplace accidents to understand the potential cause of the accident

educate employees on best practices of using equipment and machinery

ensure that employees wear protective gear and safety helmets

ensure companies implement workplace safety and health policies

oversee the installation of safety devices on machinery

make recommendations for improvement of safety protocols and procedures

create precautionary procedures and develop an accident response plan

stay updated on government rules and regulations related to safety and equipment advancement

monitor workplace environment and facilities to ensure there are no dangerous situations

install safety devices in the building and machinery

identify and amend potential hazards by performing inspections on machinery and safety systems.
