Job Overview

Paradigm Realty is seeking a highly skilled GM Accounts and Finance to join our senior management team at our Mumbai headquarters. This full-time role will involve leading the financial operations and strategy within the company, leveraging your expertise to influence key financial decisions and ensure sustainable growth within the real estate sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow with a dynamic and burgeoning company in a senior leadership capacity.

Salary Range – Bracket consideration depending on experience

Job Description

 

Accounts and Audit:

1.      Manage the Financial operations of the Organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles & regulatory requirements.

2.      Finalization of accounts, divisional & branch accounting & Consolidation of Financials.

3.      Resolving the queries raised by statutory auditors, internal auditors etc. & getting the audits completed.

4.      Stores/ Materials accounting

5.      Tax audit details preparation & getting the same completed.

6.      Knowledge of Accounting Standards and their implementation

7.      Preparing the Annual report

 

MIS:

1.      Preparing Company wise & Project wise Profitability

2.      Preparing Debtors & Creditors Ageing report

3.      Preparing Debt Status report

4.      Preparing Site wise Working Capital Requirement

5.      Calculation of WIP & COS on the basis of percentage work completion

6.      Prepare accurate & timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements for the senior management.

 

Budgeting:

1.      Building necessary base for annual budget preparation

2.      Monitoring the Budgets along with the actuals

3.      Analysing the Budget vs Actuals.

4.      Margin & Profitability Analysis

5.      Perform Financial analysis, identify trends & provide insights to support strategic decision making.

 

Taxation:

1.      Oversee Filing of returns and attending tax authorities for assessments and appeals

2.      Ensuring Timely filing of returns

3.      Getting the GST Audit completed.

4.      Oversee Personal taxation – employees

5.      Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors & legal counsel to ensure compliance with audit & tax.

 

Finance:

1.      Preparation and submission of applications/Proposals to various Bankers/Financial Institutions for arranging loans for financial assistance in form of Working Capital Finance (Fund based & Non Fund Based), Term Loans, Short Term Deposits and timely follow up for necessary sanctions, documentations and disbursements.

2.      Renewal of Existing Loans & line of Credit.

3.      Preparing reports required by rating agencies & getting the ratings done from the credit rating agencies.

4.      Completing the Compliances required by the Bankers

5.      Surplus Fund Management in terms of placement of inter-corporate deposits to Corporate

6.      Preparing the Business Plan

 

Banking & Working Capital/Fund Management:


1.      Preparation of QIS/FFR & Calculation of drawing power

2.      Preparation of CMA

3.      Bill Discounting and L/C backed Bill discounting at competitive interest rates

4.      Arranging Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantee

5.      Arranging Suppliers' Credit and Buyers' Credit

6.      Placement of commercial papers

7.      Liaising with Senior Officials of Banks, Financial Institutions, Finance Companies, Mutual Funds, etc.

8.      Managing Vendor Payments & Receivables & ensuring accurate & timely process of transactions.

9.      Implement & maintain strong internal controls & financial procedures to safeguard company assets, Credit Control & ensure compliance.

 

Corporate Planning and System:

1.      Involved in corporate planning during organizational & Capital restructuring at all levels

2.      Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company

3.      Involved in Financial projections of collaborations / joint ventures envisaged

4.      Experience in issue of IPO will be an added advantage

5.      Experience in Secretarial work (CS) will be an added advantage.

 

Others:

1.      Team Management & Team Building

2.      Provide financial guidance & support to other departments

3.      Supervise & mentor the finance team, providing leadership, guidance and performance feedback.

4.      Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and best practices.

5.      Drive Process improvements & automation initiatives to enhance efficiency & accuracy in financial operations & finalization.

6.      Handling assignments & required by the Management

 

Qualifications and skills

1.      Qualified CA/ICWA/MBA- Finance with 14 - 18yrs of total work experience in Construction/ Contracting industry

2.      Worked for 3-4 Years in a leadership role in a mid sized / large Construction/Contracting company into Finance & Accounting function.

3.      Should have handled a team.

4.      Candidate must be fully conversant with Fund Raising and Fund Management

5.      Candidate should be fully conversant with Finalization of Books of accounts & Taxation.

6.      Candidate must be fully conversant with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting

7.      Candidate must be very well versed in dealing with Banks and Financial Institutions

8.      Candidate must be experienced with arranging Project Finance for various projects as well as Expansions etc.

9.      Knowledge of innovative Financing Structures and Funding Mechanisms will serve as an added advantage for the applicant

10.  Candidate should be smart and articulate with good communication and presentation skill and must be ready to initiate everything through scratch.
