Job Overview

Paradigm Realty is seeking a seasoned Construction Head for a Senior-level position based in Mumbai. This full-time role involves overseeing all construction activities while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of construction processes and the ability to manage various stakeholders efficiently.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in construction management delivering high-quality real estate projects.
  • Strong architectural design knowledge to ensure aesthetic and functional standards in construction.
  • Demonstrated competence in people management, fostering team development, and collaboration.
  • Influence and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Expertise in contract management to ensure compliance with all legal agreements (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in costing and budgeting to maintain financial efficiency in projects (Mandatory skill).
  • Capacity building/management to ensure optimal resource allocation across projects (Mandatory skill).
  • Ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects while maintaining quality standards.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to project teams to ensure projects align with company goals.
  • Responsible for all phases (planning, scheduling and managing) of the design and construction process of high-rise construction projects
  • Secures management support for project scopes budgets, and goals
  • Leads team in establishing scope, budget and schedule, and maintains such commitments through design, construction, and close-out processes.
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk to Account Management.
  • Prepare monthly reports including scope, schedule and budget updates.
  • Provide engineering expertise and management oversight for the development and construction of various quality construction projects.
  • Assist various crafts, disciplines and subcontractors in executing their respective work.
  • Plan, prepare and analyze documents, and manage construction contracts.
  • Coordinate with clients on a regular basis.
  • Participate in public meetings and presentations.
  • Take responsibility for personnel matters, workload management, monitoring consultant service contracts and establishing optimum engineering practices to serve the client's project delivery efforts.
  • Forecast and track fiscal budget and cash flow for total workforce, facilities, vehicles, equipment and other resources necessary to deliver the assigned construction projects.
  • Directing a multi-disciplinary team and communicating with staff effectively.
  • Reports regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders
  • Coordinating market and customer research and writing bids for tender
  • Lead the planning and implementation of construction strategies, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Implement risk management processes to mitigate potential project delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards, permitting regulations, and safety practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project innovations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff promoting continuous improvement and learning.
