Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Outworks Solutions Private Ltd. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users in resolving hardware and software issues. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users on various desktop-related issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure efficient and effective system functionality
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to desktop systems
• Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and virus protection
• Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for utilizing desktop systems
• Document and maintain records of technical issues and resolutions
