Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our team at OptimHire. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our web applications. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience, and the work location is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The employment type for this role is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience in working with Django and GraphQL frameworks
• Familiarity with FastAPI and MySQL database
• Knowledge of AWS services for deploying and scaling applications
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code
• Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implement data storage solutions and integration with various databases
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front and back end
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Debug and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices are implemented
