Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled 2D Drafting professional to join our team. As a 2D Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings using industry-standard software. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The employment type is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in 2D drafting
• Proficiency in using NX1919 or similar software
• Knowledge of drafting principles and industry standards
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings based on engineering designs and specifications
• Use industry-standard software, such as NX1919, to produce accurate technical drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with drafting principles and industry standards
• Work closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve design and production issues
• Review and revise drawings as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and revisions
