Job Overview

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of at least 5 years in the industry. This position is based at our Chennai office, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and maintenance of our applications. The job is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and the employment type is Contract-To-Hire or Contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement effective DevOps solutions.
3. Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
4. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue identification and resolution.
5. Automate manual processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce error rates.
6. Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues.
7. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
2. Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
3. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
5. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or DevOps.
6. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
7. Strong knowledge of networking concepts.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
9. Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
10. Proficiency in using Git for version control.
11. Experience with agile methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
