Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Modular Furniture As a BDM, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales of our modular furniture products. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven track record of 7 to 10 years in sales and business development, preferably in the modular furniture industry
- Strong network of contacts in the construction, architecture, and interior design sectors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the modular furniture market
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and key decision-makers in the industry
- Understand client requirements and provide consultation on suitable modular furniture solutions
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business prospects
