Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Modular Furniture As a BDM, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving sales of our modular furniture products. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven track record of 7 to 10 years in sales and business development, preferably in the modular furniture industry
  • Strong network of contacts in the construction, architecture, and interior design sectors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as required


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the modular furniture market
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and key decision-makers in the industry
  • Understand client requirements and provide consultation on suitable modular furniture solutions
  • Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business prospects
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company
