Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) for production activities.
• Set up and load materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand specifications and machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments on the machine.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and productivity.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive repairs on the VMC to avoid breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the VMC, such as tool wear or machine malfunctions.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a VMC Operator or similar role.
• Proficient in operating and programming Vertical Machining Centers.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
