• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve final products.
• Prepare documentation and manuals for designed machines to assist in manufacturing and assembly.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in machine design technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all design work.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide solutions during the prototype and testing phases.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in designing special purpose machines, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for creating detailed designs.
• Ability to analyze project requirements and translate them into functional machine designs.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize machine performance.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality in design work.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
