Manage quality control and audit of the In process and finished goods as per customer specifications. Maintain the entire documentation (Outgoing Quality Control and Process Control) and physical inspection phase of the goods in coordination with the buyer specifications.


Roles & Responsibilities:-

 

  • Check sample from different batches of final lot randomly and identify issues and take appropriate actions as needed.
  • Check aesthetic (as per Buyer specification) and mechanical/ electrical performance, Calibration, Packing and Assembly.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of in-process sub assemblies of all product line and final goods all product line to ensure they adhere to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Use a variety of measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment to assess product attributes.
  • Perform visual inspections to detect any defects or irregularities in the manufacturing process.
  • Check while assembly for calibration, packing and quality checks on all the protocols for in process steps.
  • Performs checks on temperature setting with temperature meter for calibration
  • Perform FPA and LPA on daily basis and monitor daily rejection data for improvement
  • Participate red bin analysis on daily basis
  • Layout Inspection of Parts as per plan.

 

Awareness and Compliance


  • Communicate with Buyer’s quality check & control representative for compliance to standards of finished goods.
  • Report defective material to Production department to ensure correction/ rejection, whichever is the case.
  • Ensure quality-related awareness, information, support and materials are available to shop floor team to foster quality growth, knowledge and quality behavior in employees.
  • Suggest & implement process improvement, Kaizen and 5S initiatives for improving productivity & efficiency.

 

Team Management

  • Develop an effective team by providing leadership, motivation and support to the team.
  • Ensure that all members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve it. Constant monitoring to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.

 

MIS/Reports

  • Prepare self-inspection report, OQC Final inspection report, Standing Loss test report on regular basis.
  • Daily and monthly quality report of each line to be summarized and submit to quality manager


Desired Candidate Profile:-


  • BTech preferably in Electrical/Mech engineering having technical knowledge including latest technology of Geysers, Knowledge and experience of managing quality assurance practices.
  • Ability to identify gaps in quality of the product (finished goods) in coordination with the customer representative on unit site.
  • Good communication, organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively.
  • A keen observer and an eye to detail to identify issues.
  • MS Office and other related software.(Must)
