Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify and source mechanical components and equipment as per the company's requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective purchases.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Review and evaluate supplier performance to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchased goods and services.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends and supplier offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations in all procurement activities.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing mechanical components.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage vendors and suppliers effectively.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for effective order management.
  • In-depth understanding of the mechanical parts and equipment market conditions.
  • Ability to analyze technical specifications and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
