Job Overview


We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated National Sales Head - Building Material to oversee and manage our sales operations across the country. This is a senior-level role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the building material industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales executives, and building strong relationships with key clients.


Roles and Responsibilities :-

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
  • Manage the sales team, including hiring, training, motivating, and performance evaluation
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and nurture long-term relationships with key clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve sales performance
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, market conditions, and competitor activities to senior management
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to the executive team
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards


Desired Candidate Profile :-


  • Master / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 12-18 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building material industry
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving sales targets
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
  • Willingness to travel extensively
