Roles & Responsibilities :- 

• Contribute to the strategic growth of the company by optimizing existing processes in thermostats and driving innovation through successful new product introductions.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, conduct time studies, and apply line balancing techniques to enhance overall productivity.
• Utilize expertise to design jigs and fixtures that optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvement measures in manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with the production team to implement efficient fixture setups.
• Develop layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software for new product lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of layouts into production.
• Identify opportunities for low-cost automation in manufacturing processes.
• Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
• Analyze and optimize material handling processes to minimize waste and enhance workflow.
• Propose and implement improvements in material handling systems.
• Active Contribution in the NPD process, from concept to production, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to establish new products and processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for new products.

Qualifications and Skills

• BTech preferably in Mechanical/Industrial Engg/Production Engg with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent software for layout design.
• Experience in designing jigs, fixtures, and low-cost automation solutions.
• In-depth understanding of material handling processes and improvements.
• Proven track record in successful New Product Development.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
