Job Overview


We are looking for an Assistant Accounts Manager - US Accounting position with our client place based at Noida & Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum 2-4 Years of related experience.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Perform data entry in QuickBooks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform data entry in client-specific ERP/accounting tools as required.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure they are up to date.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for tax compliance for each state, including workers' compensation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of QuickBooks to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Produce comprehensive monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct budget projections and provide financial forecasts.
  • Produce detailed quarterly financial reports and analyses.
  • Handle project accounting, including project-based P&L statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns quarterly, and yearly.
  • Conduct financial audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Proficient in Excel for formulas like Sumif, Countif, Vlookup, Conditional statements, Pivot table 


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and tax regulations
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
