Job Overview

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring efficient and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. This is a mid-level position with 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Patna, Bihar, India and requires full-time employment.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in Real Estate / Highrise Building Construction Company
• Strong knowledge of production planning and purchasing processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to foster positive relationships with suppliers
• Experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation
• Proven track record of implementing cost savings initiatives
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective procurement
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and requirements
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Monitor and control inventory levels
• Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage a team of purchasing professionals
