Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly and outgoing personality

Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations

Strong organizational and time management skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work in a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge of food and beverage operations is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients and guests in a friendly and professional manner

Seat clients and guests at suitable tables and provide them with menus

Take reservations and manage the waiting list

Provide accurate waiting times and inform clients and guests about any delays

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the hostess station and dining area

Coordinate with the kitchen and servers to ensure smooth service flow

Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries

Monitor dining room activity and ensure customer satisfaction

Assist in resolving any customer complaints or issues

Upsell menu items and promote specials

Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials

Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations
