Job Overview

NV5 Mission Critical is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore Urban. The ideal candidate will have a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on design and analysis of electrical systems. This full-time position requires expertise in various electrical engineering disciplines to support our mission-critical projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in electrical engineering with up to 10 years of experience, ensuring comprehensive understanding and practical application of principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed electrical design drawings, a must for communicating technical concepts effectively.
• Experience in power distribution, ensuring safe and efficient distribution of electricity across systems.
• Strong knowledge of lighting design principles to create effective lighting systems that meet industry standards.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards to ensure designs comply with national and international regulations.
• Ability to design electrical circuits, critical for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Project management skills to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Technical writing ability to create clear and concise technical specifications and reports for clients and internal teams.
• Strong team-building skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and drive project success.
• Excellent client-facing skills to build and maintain relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.
• Experience with LLE specification to ensure lighting designs meet energy efficiency and performance standards.
• Expertise in electrical system analysis using software tools like ETAP for system performance evaluations.
• Proficiency in Revit for integrating electrical designs into comprehensive building information models.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative electrical design solutions for mission-critical projects, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit to support construction and maintenance.
• Conduct comprehensive power distribution and lighting design analysis to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant electrical codes and standards to maintain safety and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure project goals are met within time and budget constraints.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing concerns and providing solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Lead electrical system analysis and simulation using tools like ETAP to optimize system performance.
• Document technical specifications and reports to communicate design intent and project progress effectively.
• Mentor and support junior engineers to promote professional growth and maintain high engineering standards.
