Job Overview

NV5 Mission Critical is seeking a highly skilled mid-level engineer with expertise in power system studies to join our team in Bangalore Urban. This full-time position requires a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The select candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced power system analyses to support our mission-critical projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in power system analysis, demonstrated through at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience conducting load flow analysis for complex power systems.
• Expertise in short circuit analysis to evaluate system protection and reliability.
• Advanced skills in transient stability analysis to ensure the robustness of power systems under transient conditions.
• Capability in voltage stability analysis to maintain system integrity and operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of power system protection and coordination methodologies.
• Experience with power system modeling and simulation tools, particularly ETAP.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical data to optimize system performance and reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and stability analyses.
• Develop and simulate power system models using advanced modeling tools such as ETAP.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation of power system analysis results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power systems.
• Identify potential issues in the power system and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.
• Assist in the design and implementation of protection schemes to enhance system security.
• Review and validate system designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders regarding power system performance and protection strategies.
