ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Designing complete Electrical Systems of a project.
• Should be able to understand the project requirements and coordinate with Arch, Civil, MEP team, and Client across all the stages.
•  Preparation of Electrical system design calculations and schemes.
• Preparation of electrical BOD, BOQ, Cable schedule, Load estimation, and Quantity estimation.
• Design of Lighting, Power, cable tray, Earthing, and Equipment layouts.
• Should be capable of doing Calculations such as load calculation, Transformer / DG / Capacitor Bank sizing, Cable Sizing / Schedule / HT / LT Cable sizing, Tray Sizing, Lighting Calculation, Short Circuit Calculation, Earthing Calculation, and Lightning protection.
• Equipment & Substation space planning as per codes and bylaws.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Having prior experience in electrical systems design for hyper-scale data centers, financial institutions, Banking sectors, and other critical infrastructure projects.
• Should be a Collaborative Problem Solver.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Project management skills with experience in Client-facing roles.
• Electrical design software knowledge such as ETAP and AMPTECH.
• Specialist certifications (CDCP, CDCS, ATD Etc.,) would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of EHV, HV systems, and GIS substations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Masters/bachelor's degree level education in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of professional design experience in design background.
• Good Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IS, IEEE, IEC etc).
• Good Knowledge of relevant Data Centre codes (e.g., TIA, Uptime, ASHRAE TC 9.9, IEEE, etc) would be a distinct advantage.
• Computer literate and have experience of using industry-relevant design software such as CAD, BIM, AMTECH, ETAP, and DIA Lux.
