Job Overview
NV5 Mission Critical is seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Officer to join our team in Bangalore. This full-time, mid-level position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and budget management.

- Financial Analysis: Proven experience in analyzing financial data to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Account Reconciliation: Advanced capability in reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
- Budget Management: Skilled in managing budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with projections and organizational goals.
- Financial Reporting: Proficiency in preparing comprehensive financial reports that meet regulatory standards and inform business strategies.
- Audit Preparation: Experience in preparing for audits, including compiling necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries.
- Accounts Payable: Effective management of accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
- Accounts Receivable: Competence in managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and forecasts to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgetary controls and provide regular financial analysis to management.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for internal and external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Provide training and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
