Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Equity-based Compensation
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team at NPPD CARE, a healthcare services provider. As the CTO, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's technology strategy, including overseeing the engineering, product, and technology teams. This is a unique opportunity for a CTO to join an early-stage startup with significant equity-based compensation.
At present, your role will be to build a hybrid application and handle website for next months alone. After which, we will be forming a tech team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technology strategy of the company and provide guidance to the engineering, product, and technology teams.
- Develop and implement processes for software development, including Agile methodologies and best practices for testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of technology products and services, including web and mobile applications, telehealth platforms, and other technology-enabled healthcare services.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Build and manage a world-class technology team, including hiring, training, and development of team members.
- Monitor technology trends and innovation in the healthcare industry and assess their potential impact on the company's technology strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technology leadership role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology strategies.
- Experience leading software development teams in a healthcare or healthcare-adjacent industry.
- Strong technical background with expertise in web and mobile application development, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and machine learning.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare technology, including HIPAA compliance and data security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment preferred.
