Australian Accounting and Taxation Specialist 

We seek a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Australian Accounting and Taxation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting and taxation services to our clients based in Australia. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work with clients to get the required information and respond to queries 
• Maintain client database and work management using tools and software 
• Prepare individual, company, and trust tax returns with precision and within deadlines 
• Prepare FBT, BAS, and GST submissions 
• Prepare financial reports and support audit processes as required 
• Execute month-end and year-end adjustments, including accrued interest, provision of expenses, accrued income, pre-paid expenses, and deferred income 
• Prepare financial statements and reports for SMSFs by relevant accounting standards and regulations 
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client services 
• Proficiently use accounting software such as QBO, XERO, BGL 360, and MYOB 

Ideal Candidate: 

• High work ethics, integrity, long-term vision, and professionalism 
• Qualified CA with 1-3 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation 
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero) 
• In-depth understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel, keen to learn and work on a variety of cloud-based software
