Software Engineer II – Intelligent Automation

Intelligent Automation Centre Of Excellence (IA COE) is pivoting a key role in digital transformation and acceleration for Nissan globally and comprises of various automation verticals such as RPA, LCP, and so on acting as digital acceleration catalyst.

Intelligent Automation COE is looking for Software engineer responsible for project development, deep dive with new tools and technologies and apply them to real business scenarios, technical tool evaluations, tech stack upgrades, front ending solutions, technical quality assurance of deliverables, mentoring the project team members on queries, providing continuous improvement ideas and ensuring right solutions are recommended and implementing through COE to projects delivered across global Nissan entities. Software engineer is a key member of the Global Digitization and Automation Tribe contributing to the Digital Transformation plans for Nissan.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Serve as the IA COE technical interface with Organization IT.  Analysing existing systems and providing technical solutions for automation.
• Active and key role for tool evaluations, adoptions, digital deliverables and acceleration.
• Work for technical standards and best practices for RPA and LCP development and delivery. 
• Responsible and accountable for maintaining the IA technical library.
• Review code for compliance and reuse and ensure code complies with architectural standards.
• Supports automation opportunity identification and assessment activities. Defining the project and scope. Effort estimation and costing. Drafting business requirement specification.
• Concept presentations to business stakeholders and ensure all technical queries and concerns are addressed.
• Conducting application demo, technical feasibility analysis and assessment study to various stakeholders.
• Lead problem identification/error resolution process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects.
• Assist in continuous optimisation and process improvement of projects.
• Work towards solutioning for technical and architectural issues.
• Monitor on environnements (Dev/Test/Production etc).
• Assist in the transformation effort and help to standardize delivery management and enabling technology landscape to achieve cost efficiency and service delivery performance.
• Technically assist to implement customer journeys from initial implementation to robust scalable model.
• Translating business requirement document to software requirement specifications.
• Work directly with developers and project managers to ensure Delivery and Implementation of various projects and solutions.

Experience / Education Profile Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in product / services industry with strong technical and digital transformation experience.
• Experience in Design & Implementation of Robotics Process Automation and Project development using Low code platforms, preferably Outsystems.
• Professional experience on integration projects, automation projects etc
• Good exposure to Business process analysis and standardisation.
• The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches with well documented, supportable and extensible developments
• Experience on .Net, C# and/or Java, RPA tools and technologies (UiPath, Power Automate), Low Code Platforms like Out systems, Power platform, Scripting languages
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Experience working and managing global teams preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Results oriented with strategic thinking, creative abilities, sense of urgency and passion
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
• Strong interpersonal skills. Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships
• Strong experience with Microsoft product suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project
• Bachelor / Maters degree in an appropriate subject (e.g. computer science, or engineering) is required.

Good to have / Plus

• Experience in working with agile lifecycle, tracking and process management tools, e.g. JIRA, Rally 
• Experience using DevOps, CI/CD, delivery pipeline culture
