- Prospect and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Customer Consultation:
- Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions.
- Educate customers on the environmental and financial benefits of solar power.
- Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solar energy solutions.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and objections.
- Quotation and Proposal Generation:
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for solar power installations.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposed solutions align with customer requirements.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with customers.
- Follow up on leads and maintain communication throughout the sales process.
- Relationship Building:
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Cultivate and manage a pipeline of potential clients.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and solar energy regulations.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance our offerings.
- Qualifications:
- Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA
- Proven track record in field sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the designated sales territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
