ROLE OBJECTIVE & DELIVERABLES:
- Customer has a legacy MDM setup (Mobile Iron), they want to assess if they can move this workload to Microsoft Intune – as service they already have via their Microsoft licensing agreement.
- Functionality between MobileIron and Intune must be discovered and assessed. Intune must offer the same or above enabled feature sets as MobileIron.
- Customer uses a suite of productivity applications by MobileIron i.e. Web at work, Docs at work, etc. How this translates into Microsoft apps i.e. Outlook, Teams, etc. and the associated controls need to be evaluated.
- Customer required to produce MDM reporting to executive and other levels of the business, requirement to assess Intune reporting capabilities.
- Analyse current capabilities and features in MobileIron
- Feature/functionality analysis and platform transfer options report “art of the possible”
- Discover MobileIron “Productivity Suite”
- Discover VPN tooling and configurations
- Define requirements for capabilities to transition to Intune
- “Art of the possible” report, detailing feature transfers and advancements
- High-level design for proposed MVP/POC
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Detail the core and key skills that the candidate must possess
- MDM general expert, Intune and MobileIron knowledge essential
- Good level understanding of wider M365 stack
- Any MDM (any MDM platform) to Intune migration experience an massive plus
- Good written skills, can be in front of customer stakeholders, extracting and documenting information.
- Describe the required experience the candidate must have eg similar engagements, industries, clients, or level at which they have operated
