Job Overview

We are seeking a Finance Manager for a restaurant in Chennai. This is a full-time position requiring expertise in financial management, analysis, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be well-versed in various financial and auditing practices.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Auditing (Mandatory skill)
  • TDS (Mandatory skill)
  • GST (Mandatory skill)
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with a keen understanding of financial reports and metrics
  • Proficient in risk management practices to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Solid accounting skills, including managing budgets, expenses, and financial records
  • Proven experience in team leadership, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead a finance team
  • Knowledgeable in using Tally software for finance-related tasks



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements
  • Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor the financial health and performance of the company
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiencies and safeguard assets
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and address financial issues
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing strategies to manage and reduce exposure
