Education

  • Minimum Diploma Chemical Engineering
  • B.E / BTech in Chemical Engineering will be given preference


Experience

  • Diploma Holders: Min. 7 Years
  • Bachelor: Min. 5 Years
  • Masters: MIn. 5 Years
  • Previous experience in bulk and basic chemical industry is a must
  • Previous experience in operation of sulphonation plant will be given preference
  • Previous experience in greenfield and brownfield chemical projects will be given preference


Profile

  • Take single point responsibility for all production activities, product adjustment and QC during the given shift
  • Ensure production volume and quality is as per the plan given by Asst. Manager Process
  • Ensure all process parameters are as per SOP and report discrepancies to Asst. Manager, whenever required
  • Ensure product change-over is done as per SOP and any discrepancies should be reported to Asst. Manager Process
  • Ensure minimal generation of off-spec and prepare off-spec generation report for the shift
  • Prepare shift production and yield report. Ensure product yield and active matter is as per standards
  • Coordinate with QC for raw material, finished product and online testing
  • Supervise product adjustment and ensure active matter and other parameters are as per guidelines given by QC
  • Supervise tank yard loading/unloading activities along with yard manager
  • Supervise operation of utilities such as DM/RO Plant, ETP and Boiler
  • Take regular pro-active rounds in plant and report maintained work to mechanical team
  • Prepare routine utility and electricity consumption report along with other functional heads (electrical, mechanical, etc.)
  • Supervise cleaning and refilling of catalyst during plant shutdown
  • Supervise brick-lining and insulation work
  • Conduct regular tube calibration and reactor cleaning to ensure maximum yield
  • Supervise preparation of LABSA 90% in jacketed batch reactor
  • Enter production and raw material consumption details into SAP
