Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access controls.

Security Implementation:

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for Windows systems.
• Regularly apply security patches, updates, and hotfixes to Windows servers.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning.

Incident Response:

• Respond to security incidents and breaches involving Windows systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Network Configuration:

• Configure and manage network services on Windows servers, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Ensure secure network communication and data transfer.

Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance and security status.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and network teams to ensure cohesive security measures.
• Provide support and guidance to team members on Windows-related issues.

Automation and Scripting:

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
• Utilize tools such as PowerShell for system management and automation.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to users and staff on Windows systems and security best practices.
• Ensure all users understand their roles in maintaining system security.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Windows & Windows Server Administrator.
• Strong background in managing and securing Windows environments.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
