Job Overview: The Senior Specialist Change Management will be responsible for overseeing and implementing change management processes in the cybersecurity domain. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure changes are managed effectively, securely, and in compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Change Management Leadership:

  • Lead the development and implementation of change management strategies for cybersecurity projects.
  • Ensure changes are aligned with organizational goals and security standards.

Risk Assessment:

  • Conduct risk assessments for proposed changes.
  • Identify potential impacts on security and system performance.

Process Development:

  • Develop and maintain change management processes and procedures.
  • Ensure processes comply with industry standards and best practices.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Coordinate with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to facilitate smooth change implementations.
  • Communicate change impacts, timelines, and requirements to stakeholders.

Change Documentation:

  • Document all change requests, approvals, and implementations.
  • Maintain accurate records of change activities and outcomes.

Security Compliance:

  • Ensure all changes comply with cybersecurity policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance.

Incident Response:

  • Manage change-related incidents and issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to staff on change management processes and best practices.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles in the change process.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor change implementations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare reports on change activities, impacts, and performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving change management processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest change management and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in change management within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong background in risk assessment and process development.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in change management tools and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Prosci, or CISSP are preferred.
