Netsach is currently hiring DevSecOps Engineer for Dubai location. This is an Onsite opportunity.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into our DevOps workflows, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement. Your expertise in both development and security will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of secure and high-quality software solutions. Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH would be highly preferred.

Job Title: Sr. DevSecOps Engineer

Exp: 6 to 8yrs

Location: Dubai – Onsite

Job Type: Fulltime

 

 

Responsibilities

 

- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable DevOps pipelines, incorporating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, performing analysis and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

 

- Develop and maintain security automation tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security-related tasks.

 

- Monitor and analyze system logs, application performance metrics, and security incident reports, proactively identifying and responding to security threats.

 

- Conduct security awareness training for development and operations teams, promoting secure coding practices, secure configurations, and compliance with security policies.

 

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in DevSecOps and security technologies, making recommendations for process improvements and tooling enhancements.

 

- Collaborate with external security auditors and assessors during compliance audits, ensuring the successful completion of security assessments and certifications.

 

- Participate in incident response and resolution activities, investigating security incidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

 

Requirements

 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

 

- Solid experience in software development and operations, with a focus on security.

 

- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.

 

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.

 

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security considerations.

 

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and associated security practices.

 

- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001) and their application in software development.

 

- Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and their mitigation techniques.

 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address security risks and incidents effectively.

 

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

 

- Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or related certifications are a plus.
