Job Overview: The Solution Design and Business Architecture Specialist (FTTx) will be responsible for designing and architecting secure FTTx solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and cybersecurity standards. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensuring the security of FTTx infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

• Design and develop secure FTTx solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with cybersecurity best practices.

Business Architecture:

• Develop business architecture models to support FTTx initiatives.
• Align business processes with technical solutions to optimize performance and security.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.

Security Integration:

• Integrate cybersecurity measures into FTTx solutions.
• Conduct security assessments and implement necessary safeguards.

Network Architecture:

• Design network architectures that support FTTx deployments, ensuring high availability and security.
• Optimize network performance and manage capacity planning.

Documentation:

• Create comprehensive documentation of solution designs, architecture models, and security measures.
• Maintain up-to-date records of architectural decisions and changes.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.

Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor the performance of FTTx solutions to ensure they meet business and security objectives.
• Implement monitoring tools and conduct regular performance reviews.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in FTTx technologies and cybersecurity.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to staff on FTTx solutions and security protocols.
• Ensure team members understand the architecture and their roles in maintaining security.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in solution design and business architecture, with a focus on FTTx technologies.
• Strong background in cybersecurity and network architecture.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in FTTx technologies and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or network architecture certifications are preferred.
