Job Overview: The Senior ERP Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and security of ERP systems. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure the integrity, availability, and security of ERP data and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP System Management:

• Manage and maintain ERP systems to ensure high performance and availability.
• Oversee system configurations, updates, and patches.

Security Integration:

• Implement and enforce security measures to protect ERP data and processes.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Data Integrity and Compliance:

• Ensure data integrity through regular backups and recovery plans.
• Ensure ERP systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Incident Response:

• Respond to and resolve security incidents related to ERP systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Performance Tuning:

• Optimize ERP performance through tuning and resource management.
• Monitor system performance and address any issues promptly.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to align ERP operations with organizational goals.
• Provide support and guidance on ERP security best practices.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of ERP configurations, processes, and security measures.
• Prepare detailed reports on system performance and security status.

User Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to staff on ERP system usage and security protocols.
• Ensure users understand their roles in maintaining ERP security.

Project Management:

• Lead ERP-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within ERP systems.
• Stay updated with the latest ERP technologies and cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience managing and securing ERP systems, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
• Strong background in IT systems management and data protection.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ERP-specific certifications are preferred.
