Job Description

Maximo techno-functional consultant should possess a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and communication skills to effectively implement, customize, and support Maximo. Below are detailed qualifications expected from a Senior Maximo Techno-Functional Consultant:

1. Maximo Certification: The consultant should hold relevant certifications in Maximo Enterprise Asset Management, demonstrating proficiency in the platform's core functionalities, configurations, and customizations.
2. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in IBM Maximo platform, including hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Maximo applications. Proficiency in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Automation Scripting, Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, and other relevant technologies is essential.
3. Implementation Experience: Proven track record of successfully implementing Maximo solutions for large-scale enterprises, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry. Experience in configuring Maximo modules such as Asset Management, Work Order Management, Inventory Management, and Preventive Maintenance is highly desirable.
4. Customisation and Development: Extensive experience in customising Maximo applications to meet specific business requirements. Proficiency in developing custom workflows, escalation scripts, automation scripts, and integration solutions using Maximo's built-in tools and APIs.
5. Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of integration patterns and protocols, including RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JMS, and flat file imports/exports. Experience in integrating Maximo with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, GIS, and SCADA systems.
6. Data Management Skills: Ability to design and implement data migration strategies for importing legacy data into Maximo system. Proficiency in data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
7. Troubleshooting and Support: Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Maximo system, including performance optimisation, database tuning, and system maintenance tasks. Ability to provide timely and effective technical support to end-users and IT teams.
8. Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in conducting user training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and maximise system adoption.
9. Project Management Skills: Ability to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively. Experience in creating project plans, risk assessments, and status reports to ensure successful project outcomes within budget and schedule constraints.
10. Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in Maximo technology and enterprise asset management domain. Participation in relevant training programs, conferences, and professional forums to enhance knowledge and skills.
