Preferred Certifications

Requirements & Skills:

·      12+ Years if strong IT/Software industrial experience with bachelor's degree in Computer or equivalent.

·      8+ Years of relevant experience in designing DevOps and DevSecOps strategies to align with organizational goals, focusing on automation, scalability, and security. Strong Python Scripting exp is mandatory.

Exp in SRE, Infrastructure is mandatory.

·   Create and maintain blueprints for infrastructure, tools, and CI/CD pipeline architecture to ensure system robustness and efficiency.

·      Define project goals, timelines, resource requirements, and establish best practices for robust and efficient DevOps operations.

·      Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate tools and frameworks (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and others) for infrastructure provisioning, orchestration, and configuration management.

·      Architect and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, code review, and security checks for high-quality code releases.

·      Extensive knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for provisioning and managing infrastructure securely across environments.

·      Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh frameworks (Istio, Linkerd) for secure, efficient microservice communication.

·      Implement security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC security scanning) and configure secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault) to secure pipeline stages.

·      Define security policies, compliance standards, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) across DevOps practices.

·      Create audit trails and develop risk management processes to monitor and maintain infrastructure security.

·      Strong networking (VPC, NAT, subnets, routing, VPN) and cloud management expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP), including hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures.

·      Architect highly available, fault-tolerant systems and set up disaster recovery for critical applications.

·      Experience integrating on-prem and cloud systems, ensuring smooth data flow and security in hybrid environments.

·      Deploy monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK) with centralized dashboards to monitor system health and performance.

·      Design observability frameworks, including distributed tracing (Jaeger, Zipkin) and real-time application performance monitoring.

·      Establish automated feedback loops and alerting mechanisms for proactive incident management and system health monitoring.

·      Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to define and enforce DevOps practices and policies across the organization.

·      Mentor junior DevOps engineers, promote knowledge-sharing, and lead by example in adopting DevOps best practices.

·      Ensure comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security configurations, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.

·      Skilled in optimizing applications and infrastructure for performance and scalability across distributed and hybrid systems.
