Job Description:

Role Overview: As a Counselor at NetlabsITS Institute, you will be crucial in guiding and supporting students through their educational journey. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services to help students make informed decisions about their academic and career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Student Guidance:

·        Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' academic goals, interests, and challenges.

·        Provide information about various courses, programs, and career opportunities NetlabsITS Institute offers.

·        Assist students in choosing the most suitable courses based on their strengths and aspirations.

2.   Admissions Support:

·        Guide prospective students through the admissions process, explaining requirements and procedures.

·        Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth application and enrollment process for students.

3.   Career Counseling:

·        Offer career guidance and support students in aligning their academic pursuits with their long-term career goals.

·        Stay updated on industry trends and employment opportunities to provide relevant advice to students.

4.   Retention and Support:

·        Monitor students' academic progress and intervene when necessary to address challenges.

·        Collaborate with faculty and other support services to enhance student success and satisfaction.

5.   Event Coordination:

·        Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and events to enhance students' personal and professional development.

6.   Documentation and Reporting:

·        Maintain accurate and updated records of counseling sessions and student interactions.

·        Generate reports on counseling activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

·        Proven experience in counseling or advising students, preferably in an educational setting.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Knowledge of educational programs and career pathways in the IT industry.

·        Ability to empathize with students and provide effective support.
