**Job Title: Business Development Manager - Core Banking Solutions**


**Location:** Maharashtra, India


**Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of Core Banking Solutions to drive our business growth in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in CBS along with their proven track record in sales and client relationship management to identify new business opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence across the region.


**Responsibilities:**


1. **Market Analysis and Strategy Development:**

  - Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities within the Maharashtra region.

  - Develop strategic business plans and sales strategies to penetrate identified markets and achieve revenue targets.

  - Collaborate with the leadership team to refine product positioning and develop compelling value propositions tailored to the needs of target clients.


2. **Business Development:**

  - Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.

  - Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and microfinance institutions.

  - Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.


3. **Client Relationship Management:**

  - Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  - Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for service improvement.

  - Collaborate with the implementation and support teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of CBS solutions for clients.


4. **Team Collaboration:**

  - Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to align business strategies, prioritize initiatives, and deliver value to clients.

  - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.


**Qualifications:**


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on Core Banking Solutions.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.

- Strong understanding of Core Banking Solutions, including knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.


**Additional Information:**

- This position requires frequent travel within Maharashtra to meet with clients and prospects.

- Fluency in Marathi and English languages is preferred.
