Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tamil and Telugu and will be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone, while also managing customer complaints and queries. Your role will be key in driving customer satisfaction, fostering strong relationships, and helping the company grow by acquiring and retaining customers.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital part in explaining our products and services to both potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring that their concerns are addressed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about the products or services they have signed up for.
- Product Knowledge: Answer customer queries about products or services after completing the necessary training.
- Needs Assessment: Ask insightful questions to understand customer requirements and guide them in maintaining their account balance.
- Order Processing: Accurately take and process customer orders, ensuring details are correctly captured.
- Database Management: Enter and update customer information into the system to maintain accurate records.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of customer interactions, calls, and important information.
- Quality Assurance: Diligently follow the company's quality matrix to ensure high standards are maintained during every customer interaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a customer service representative or in other customer-facing roles.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil and Telugu (both written and spoken) is required. Ability to communicate effectively in English is also a must.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn about products/services and describe them in detail to customers.
- Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers, handle complaints, and resolve issues calmly.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle customer concerns and reach positive resolutions.
- Background Advantage: Experience in banking, finance, LIC, or investment sales will be considered an advantage.
