Position: Business Development Executive

We are seeking Sales Executive Revisit who is responsible for revisiting existing GPay merchant partners to ensure continued satisfaction, optimize usage of QR code and sound box solutions, and identify upsell opportunities. This role focuses on nurturing merchant relationships, resolving issues, and driving increased adoption of GPay services through proactive engagement and support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Relationship Management:
  • Revisit existing GPay merchant partners to ensure continued satisfaction with GPay QR code and sound box solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships by acting as the main point of contact for ongoing support and engagement.
  • Regularly check in with merchants to identify any operational challenges and offer solutions.
  • Product Optimization and Upselling:
  • Educate merchants on advanced features and best practices for using GPay’s QR code and sound box solutions to maximize transaction efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional GPay services or features that benefit merchants (e.g., transaction analytics, additional sound boxes, etc.).
  • Encourage higher usage of GPay by offering advice on how merchants can attract more digital payments from customers.
  • Issue Resolution and Technical Support:
  • Address any technical issues merchants may encounter with QR code payments or sound boxes.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide troubleshooting tips and guidance to merchants on common issues and solutions.
  • Training and Merchant Support:
  • Provide training sessions for merchants and their teams to ensure they are fully equipped to use GPay’s services efficiently.
  • Ensure merchants understand how the sound box works and how to interpret audio confirmations of transactions.
  • Help merchants navigate any updates or changes to the GPay platform, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track merchant performance in terms of transaction volume and adoption of GPay’s QR code and sound box solutions.
  • Identify low-activity merchants and work with them to increase usage through education and incentives.
  • Provide detailed reports to the sales management team, outlining merchant feedback, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the customer support and technical teams to ensure merchant issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the sales team to share merchant feedback that can improve product development and service offerings.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in the digital payments or fintech industry.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify merchant challenges and provide quick, effective solutions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of how QR codes and sound box technology work; ability to guide merchants through setup and troubleshooting.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and engagement.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell additional features and services.
  • Self-Motivation: Strong self-discipline and motivation to independently manage merchant revisits and follow-ups.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Pay or other digital payment platforms.
  • Familiarity with the retail sector and working with small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Track record of improving merchant engagement and satisfaction.
