We are having Urgent opening for Network and System Administrator

With 2 - 3 Years experienced

 

Designation: Network and System Administrator

Experience: 2- 3 Years

Job Location: Ahmedabad

Working days: 5 Days a week


 

Necessary Skills and work set: NAS, LAN, WAN, Routers, DVR, NVR, Cameras, Firewall (UTM), PC (H/W, S/W, Installation, troubleshooting), Active directory, IT purchases, Vendor Management, Weekly reports.


Job Responsibilities

1) Diagnose & Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and replace defective components.

2) On site desktop support related to OS, MS Office, hardware issues, peripheral devices issues.

3) Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.

4) Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.

5) Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.

6) Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.

7) Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems.

8) Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.

9) Train people in computer system use.

10) Verify NAS data storage and backups regularly.

11) Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.

12) Analyse equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.

13) Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.

14) Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation.

15) Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs.

16) Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate It related purchases.
