Role Definition:
Sales Engineer is one who is responsible for maintaining aggressive approach in lead generation, making sales, developing good relationship with customers, enhancing competence, payment follow up and there by achieving the set sales target
Responsibility Deliverable
1. Enquiry Management
2. Sales Data Management
3. Vendor Registration and Management
4. Sales
5. Coordination
6. Payment Collection
Tasks & Activities
Enquiry Management:
· Maintain Enquiry sheet and SAP entry of all Enquiry received on the same day.
· Making weekly and monthly reports of enquiries and their status.
Sales Data Management:
· Making quotations on timely basis and sending it to sales engineers.
· Prepare daily reports and send it to TL/BL.
· Taking approvals on required documents as and when necessary (even SEs are on tour or leave)
· Preparing of Order File, Order processing files and Repeat order files. Creation of Sales Order in SAP.
· Updating constant contact on timely basis.
Application Support:
· Support Customers on Application/how the use the products effectively.
· Making of Application based video/sheets and share with customer on regular basis.
Product Management:
· Keep updated with competitive data
· Management of demo gears
Vendor Registration & Management:
· Vendor & Portal registrations as & when required.
· Maintain login details and digital signature of E-Tendering
Sales:
· To achieve the Sales Target
· Collection on or before agreed terms
· Lead Generation (existing customers, cold calling etc.)
· Performing/coordinating for timely demonstration to customers
· Management & Reporting
Coordination:
· Coordinate with other teams whenever required
Payment Collection:
· Collection to be done on regular basis.
