Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PAUT & TOFD Engineer to join our team at NDTS India (P) Limited. As a PAUT & TOFD Engineer, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques. This is a full-time position located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field.

Qualifications and Skills

• - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• - Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques.
• - 1 to 3 years of experience in PAUT and TOFD inspections.
• - Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASNT, ISNT, ISO, etc.).
• - Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
• - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Roles and Responsibilities

• - Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections on various materials and components.
• - Follow standard testing procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• - Interpret and evaluate test results, and prepare detailed reports.
• - Collaborate with clients and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
• - Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• - Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• - Stay updated with the latest developments in PAUT and TOFD techniques.
• - Assist in training and mentoring other NDT technicians.
