Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the electronic security industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of electronic security and building automation systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
- Ability to understand customer requirements and customize solutions accordingly
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
- Experience in channel sales will be an added advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
· Source new sales opportunities majorly through outbound cold calls and emails and some opportunities through inbound lead followup
· Understand customer needs and requirements.
· Convert qualified opportunities for further development and closure on their own
· Close sales and achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly quotas.
· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
· Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
· Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
· Visit top partners – partner visit day once a week.
· Maintain honesty and integrity in every aspect of work
Typical day in the life of an inside sales manager in DigiMRO
Ø Call customers (channel partners) to generate enquiry on various categories sold including cctv, fire alarm, access control, intrusion detection, public address systems, tools and accessories,
Ø Create BoM, BoQ taking help of support technical team
Ø Give quotes, with help of marketing team if required
Ø Close funnels, taking support of manager or concerned stakeholders
Ø Book order in system and track material arrangement and billing.
Ø Followup for timely payments
Ø Attend trainings on various categories and products
Ø Think through and prepare weekly and month planning sheets as per organization format and submit in timely manner
Ø Connect and maintain relationships with supplier partners.
Ø Keep increasing customer database
