We are seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to join our team at Akshar School Solutions Private Limited. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the company and ensuring the availability of high-quality school supplies at affordable prices. This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, including purchase forecasting, risk management, and negotiation skills
• Strong vendor management and communication proficiency
• Excellent purchasing skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
• Business acumen and ability to analyze data to make informed procurement decisions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives
• Identify and engage with reliable suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality school supplies
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated with the latest trends and pricing
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues and ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as logistics and finance, to ensure smooth procurement processes
• Optimize procurement procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times
• Manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions
