Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in sample handling procedures (Mandatory skill).
- Strong data entry and management skills are crucial for maintaining accurate sample records (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in quality control protocols to ensure sample integrity and compliance with industry standards (Mandatory skill).
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for streamlined sample tracking and reporting.
- Inventive and stock management expertise to efficiently monitor and control sample supplies.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, including knowledge of FDA and ISO standards for textiles.
- Ability to implement sample preservation techniques to maintain the quality and longevity of textile samples.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report sample data effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the lifecycle of textile samples from receipt through to dispatch and reporting.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure samples meet company and industry standards.
- Accurately enter and maintain sample data within the company database and relevant tracking systems.
- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock availability for testing and production needs without overstocking.
- Liaise with production and quality departments to ensure samples are processed and analyzed timely.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance throughout the sampling process.
- Prepare detailed reports on sample status and findings for management review.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance sample handling efficiency and accuracy.
